Jobs, money & the business layer
How it works, end to end.
A job's life
Open → accepted (a snapshot of the world is taken) → the work is done for real → checked against the world → the customer pays → the company is credited → you're paid wages → an invoice is issued.
Quotes & contracts
Quotes become work orders when accepted. Contracts bill every period and set response times (SLA). Support contracts make repairs free.
SLA
Each job gets a due time: from the contract, the customer's tier (critical 4 h, premium 8 h, business 24 h, standard 72 h) or 4 h for emergencies. Late finishes are breaches on the dashboards.
Stock, assets & warranty
Completed jobs use parts from stock. Kit fitted is registered to the customer with a serial and warranty — warranty repairs are free. Low stock raises alerts; purchase orders restock.
Tickets & alerts
Customers raise tickets from the phone or the portal. Alerts cover stock, SLA, contracts, certifications and vans.
