How it works
Panels → DC isolator → hybrid inverter → consumer unit, with a home battery beside the inverter.
Day and night
In daylight the panels power the house and charge the battery. After dark, or in a power cut, the battery takes over.
Limits
Panels must be within 30 m of the inverter; the inverter feeds the consumer unit beside it.
Checking
[E] on the inverter shows output and battery charge.
